Alan J. Omar

Founder & CEO

Alan Omar is a real estate developer, investor, entrepreneur, and businessman with proven success across many industries. As CEO for private equity and real estate investment firm, The Capital Gate, Omar manages daily operations, sourcing new deals and making strategic investments as the firm’s chief investment officer. He also serves as board member and strategic advisor for many of The Capital Gate’s subsidiaries, holding companies, affiliated corporations and external third party companies. His expertise is in demand as a Senior Consultant by CEOs and executives in many industries.

In 2020, Alan partnered with life-long friend Daniel Bui as co-CEO of Chill Zone, LLC, to license, own and operate the Chill Zone brand and Café locations. Alan will lead Chill Zone in strategic capital structure, management, organizational vision, and expansion as they get ready to open a second location in Virginia.

Past ventures include the management of fuel stations, mini markets and mechanic shops. In 2014, he sold his first licensed Seva Market & Deli retail station in Virginia. He exited this sector in 2019, to focus on The Capital Gate’s real estate developments.

As a consultant, Alan Omar has many years working with companies and contractors, specifically in the economic development sector, making a name for himself internationally as a strategic advisor in crude oil, liquid gas, and petroleum-based products, as well as natural commodities and raw materials trades. During his many years of international consulting, Alan discovered a lack of available investment capital in developing regions. After careful analysis and consideration for the future of world finances, he started The Capital Gate, building its foundation in the United States. The company is strategically built and focused on low-risk, well-diversified, long-term investments, providing opportunities to investors from around the world.

Alan serves as a board member and senior advisor to Global Diplomatic Center (GDC). He holds a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in business administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in accounting. He is also a member of the Alpha Chai honor society.
